The first book is the primary narrative-development target after the world, biology, language, and civilization constraints are stable enough to support chapter production.
PROVISIONAL · development material, not a publication-status claim.
Book I begins with two technologically mature peoples interpreting one another through old fear, incomplete intelligence, and incompatible sensory worlds. The conflict is not a simple contest between birds and insects. It is a collision between governments, families, scientists, soldiers, workers, and rival political factions that cannot yet agree on what the other civilization means.
The narrative must establish individual avian and arthropod characters before the war becomes large enough to obscure them. Communication should remain difficult but not mystical: sound, body motion, pheromonal signaling, vibration, instrumentation, and deliberate translation all contribute to meaning. The book’s central question is whether recognition can arrive before strategic fear makes coexistence impossible.
