Coneheads 2: Beyond the Cones
A next-generation family continuation in which Earth, Remulakian history, and the returning Zeplak Protocol collide—forcing a family that learned how to belong here to decide what belonging means when the wider galaxy comes calling.
Core Hook
The family has already survived assimilation. The sequel asks what happens when Earth is no longer merely a hiding place but a home worth defending—even from the rules of the civilization they came from.
Source-Grounded Story Engine
The Zeplak Protocol, Remulakian history and culture, interstellar review pressure, suburban life, and a next-generation family arc give the comedy a larger sequel architecture without abandoning domestic absurdity.

Public Overview
The sequel begins after the family has become genuinely rooted in Earth life. Human customs are still strange, but now the larger joke is that Earth itself has become so complicated that the Coneheads' literal-minded stability can look almost reasonable. That equilibrium breaks when the Zeplak Protocol resurfaces and forces unresolved Remulakian obligations back into the family’s life.
The story widens the world through Remulakian culture and history rather than treating the aliens as a one-joke premise. A next generation inherits two homes, two sets of expectations, and no clean definition of normal. Interstellar procedure, school and work pressures, neighborhood politics, public attention, and family loyalty all become parts of the same question: do they assimilate, retreat, or define a third identity of their own?
The intended tone remains warm, absurd and family-forward. The science-fiction machinery supports the comedy; the emotional spine is belonging. The continuation should feel larger than the original without turning into generic space spectacle.
