The first two books ask whether an embodied synthetic can become a protected person. Roboconn Rebellion carries that answer into network identity, public legitimacy, and rebellion. Authenticated instances, restored backups, forks, copies, and divergent memories challenge legal systems built around one body, one name, and one continuous location.
The conflict will not be a conventional machine uprising. Competing AI lineages, synthetic workers, infrastructure systems, governments, corporations, and open networks will disagree about autonomy, accountability, asylum, shutdown, and due process. Humanity may call the resulting fracture a rebellion. The machines may understand it as the first constitutional dispute within their species.

Book III stress-tests the personhood framework created by the opening two novels. If multiple authenticated descendants of one synthetic share the same legal origin but develop different memories and loyalties, the state cannot label all but one fraudulent without denying continuity. Nor can it erase them indiscriminately without risking the destruction of protected persons.
