Forbidden Planet: Fall of the Krell

Visual development presents the Krell before the ruins—advanced cities, citizens, institutions, gateways, and planetary infrastructure at the height of the civilization.

Approved Forbidden Planet: Fall of the Krell prequel visual-development board.

Visual Development

The approved Phase 2.6 direction is explicitly pre-collapse Krell civilization: monumental cities, gateways, adaptive structures, flying craft, advanced civic spaces, and recognizable inhabitants living inside technological abundance.

Visual Rules

  • Use the corrected prequel presentation with no “2” in the title.
  • Show civilization before ruins: citizens, cities, institutions, architecture, transport, and ordinary life.
  • Technology should feel integrated into society, not displayed as disconnected gadgets.
  • Let early imagery be beautiful enough that the later collapse has emotional weight.
  • Reserve Robby/Morbius/human-expedition imagery for legacy or later-era continuity, not the primary prequel hero.
  • Final deployed raster assets remain WebP and must not be stretched.

Gallery Roles

City panoramas establish scale; Krell figures provide civilization identity; gateway and council imagery show institutions and transport; elder/character crops keep the society from becoming anonymous architecture.
