Arrival 2: Eternity's Echo

A second arrival event reopens the problem of language, memory, time, and human fear as a message from beyond known space forces people and institutions to decide what they believe before they can know what it means.

Public Script Summary

A second arrival event reopens the problem of language, memory, time, and human fear as a message from beyond known space forces people and institutions to decide what they believe before they can know what it means. Eternity's Echo treats first contact as a human interpretation problem with global consequences. The story's dramatic pressure comes from what people do with incomplete information: scientists try to establish what the message can actually support, institutions compete to define its meaning, and individuals must live with memories and possibilities that no longer fit a simple past-to-future model. The public website should therefore emphasize communication, uncertainty, grief, trust, and cooperation rather than inventing an action-heavy invasion structure. The screenplay source remains the authority for scene-level detail; unresolved internal continuity is flagged privately rather than “fixed” in public copy.

Public Access Boundary

The full screenplay is not published on this website. No screenplay pages, dialogue extracts, scene excerpts, or downloadable script PDF are provided publicly.

Pitch Treatment

A separate public pitch treatment is available here: Pitch Treatment. It presents the premise, story engine, tone, and development direction without reproducing the screenplay.
